This system measures the changing groove position in the helix formation accurately along the rifled barrel length in order to verify the design data (twist rate function) and twist exit angle at muzzle with in tight angle tolerance values for groove constant twist rates, exponential gain twist, progressive parabolic/cubic parabolic etc. structures. A tracer head with encoders that fits into grooves conformably, moves forward with constant or progressive rifling accordingly inside barrel collects twist angle input sand translate into graphics for quality control purposes. The graphic table that illustrates the barrel length vs. groove angle outputs with their tolerances can be imported with an USB stick.
